On March 5, representatives of the regional administration's department for veteran policy took part in a webinar on supporting specialists who assist war veterans and demobilized persons, which was held by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine.

The webinar also involved authorized representatives of structural units responsible for the implementation of veteran policy in district military administrations, as well as heads and their deputies of municipal institutions/establishments, municipal non-profit enterprises/associations that employ specialists supporting war veterans and demobilized persons.

In Donetsk Oblast, five positions for specialists supporting veterans and demobilized persons have been added to the staffing tables of the municipal institutions "Center for Social Services," "Territorial Center for Social Services," and municipal non-profit health care enterprises of the region's territorial communities, funded by the state budget.

As of today, four specialists supporting veterans and demobilized persons have been employed in the communities of Sloviansk, Druzhkivka, and Oleksandrivka.

During the year, it is planned to introduce five additional positions for specialists supporting veterans in the regional municipal institution. In 2026, a subsidy of UAH 3.4 million is planned in the Donetsk region to pay the salaries of specialists supporting war veterans and demobilized persons.
