The civic organization “Nova Druzhkivka,” in collaboration with the Youth Council under the Donetsk Regional State Administration, presented the new season of the “Move the Youth” podcast, titled “Code of Recovery.”
This media project was created as a permanent platform for information and discussion to highlight key issues in youth policy, encourage youth participation in the early recovery of territories, and find effective solutions to preserve the human potential of the Donetsk region. The series of episodes aims to bring together youth leaders, experts, members of the public, and government officials to develop practical mechanisms for the region’s development.
The new season focuses primarily on the most pressing challenges facing young people during wartime. Speakers and guests on the programs seek answers to questions about how to engage young people—both girls and boys—in rebuilding their communities today, without waiting for the hostilities to end.
A separate focus of the podcast series is on analyzing migration processes: how to develop effective incentives to encourage young people to return home, and how to create new models of remote collaboration with those who are temporarily abroad, while maintaining their connection to their homeland. The episodes also examine in detail topics such as preserving youth communities, supporting relocated institutions, and implementing projects in the fields of formal and informal education.
In the season’s premiere episode, featuring Olena Khadzhinova, rector of the Priazovsk State Technical University, the issues of preserving intellectual resources and supporting youth initiatives were already addressed.
Ahead, viewers can look forward to a series of themed episodes dedicated to effective case studies of youth activism and tools for engaging young people in community-level decision-making.
