The Sloviansk community signed an agreement with the city of Darien, Connecticut, USA, while the Siversk community signed a partnership agreement with the municipality of Masłowice in the Łódź Voivodeship, Poland.
“For our communities, which live close to the frontline and endure daily attacks from a horrific neighbor, such international support is of tremendous importance. These are not just documents — they are new connections, partnerships, assistance for people, and a foundation for future recovery.
The cooperation will focus on education, culture, sports, social support, exchange of experience, and most importantly, projects that will help our people endure today and rebuild their lives after victory.
I thank the President for initiating this Summit, and our partners from the United States and Poland for their willingness to stand alongside Donetsk region. We have friends who understand our struggle and support our communities,” Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
