On October 7, in the village of Pantaivka in the Kirovohrad region, the second event took place as part of the mobile educational and psychological project “Azimuth: Course for Interaction,” organized by the Donetsk Regional Center for Tourism and Local History for Schoolchildren.

Sixty teenagers participated in the activities, including internally displaced children from the Donetsk region. This project holds special significance for the Donetsk Regional Center for Tourism and Local History for Schoolchildren. Despite being forced to relocate, the Center continues to work for children, creating opportunities for their development while also engaging with the communities that have become a new home for many Ukrainian families.

Participants took part in a tourist obstacle course, hands-on first-aid training, sports micro-orienteering, a creative workshop, and archery. At each station, the children tested their abilities, gained practical skills, learned to focus on tasks, and interacted with others.

Through physical activity, creativity, and working together to overcome challenges, the children develop independence, self-confidence, communication skills, and the ability to work as a team. They also gain new experiences, positive emotions, and the opportunity to discover something interesting for themselves.

The project is being implemented by the Donetsk Regional Center for Tourism and Local History for Schoolchildren in partnership with the nonprofit organization “Azimut Sports Tourism Club named after Gennadiy Kolisnyk and Yevhen Voronin,” with support from the “Together with Kernel” Foundation and the nonprofit “Social Platform ‘My City.’”

“Azimut: Course for Collaboration” continues on its journey! Ahead lie new encounters, new friendships, and opportunities for children to learn, grow, and experience the power of teamwork.
