This was announced by the Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Head of the Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin.
The decision was made during a meeting of the Donetsk Region Defense Council.
The funds will be used by the military to purchase electronic warfare systems, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and FPV drones — all of which are critically important today for effectively countering the enemy and saving the lives of Ukrainian defenders.
“I also emphasized the importance of transparent and proper procurement procedures. Every hryvnia must be used efficiently, for its intended purpose, and with maximum benefit for our military.
We are working systematically to respond promptly to the needs of our units and to strengthen the defense of Donetsk region as much as possible.
