Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Chief of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Vadym Filashkin announced that the Investment Council under the Donetsk Regional State Administration has approved the region's Public Investment Plan for 2027–2029.
Over the next three years, approximately UAH 300 million from the regional budget is planned to be allocated to priority projects. During the meeting, participants identified 11 key priority areas out of 17, including support for relocated educational and healthcare institutions, development of the municipal waste management system, preservation of cultural heritage, protection of critical infrastructure, and preparations for the recovery of the Donetsk region.
The plan takes into account the current security situation and the needs of internally displaced people. During the project selection process, particular attention will be given to security, energy efficiency, accessibility, and the efficient use of public funds.
"Based on this document, we will create a unified portfolio of the region's investment projects. Only projects included in the list of priorities will be eligible for financing from the regional budget and may also qualify for state support.
Even during wartime, we must plan the future of the Donetsk region responsibly and with a long-term perspective," Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
