As part of partnerships and cooperation within the framework of the national project "Side by Side: Cohesive Communities", a delegation from the Pokrovska community visited Uman and took part in the celebrations on the occasion of the City Day.
The delegation, consisting of Natalia Ivanio, Deputy Head of the Pokrovske MVA, Iryna Bonziukh, Head of the Social Protection Department, and Dmytro Yermolovych, Head of the Humanitarian Staff, met with the Mayor of Uman and took part in the conference "Ukrainian-European Context of the Kinship Movement: Unity. Solidarity. Mutual assistance".
Representatives of the Pokrovske community also visited:
Harmony rehabilitation complex,
a social hotel and the Prolisok Center for Comprehensive Rehabilitation for Children with Disabilities.
The meeting with a resident of the Pokrovska community who is currently undergoing rehabilitation at one of the centers was particularly touching.
As of October 2025, 256 IDPs from the Pokrovske community live in Uman. Of these, 8 people are staying in the Veterans' Home, and 16 people have already received social housing.
