February 24, 2026, marks four years since the start of the full-scale aggressive war that the Russian Federation unleashed and continues to wage against Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.

On this day, humanitarian hubs/centers established for residents of the Donetsk region in safe regions of Ukraine honored the memory of all those who gave their lives due to Russia's invasion of our land. They remembered the heroes who fought and died for our future, innocent children, peaceful Ukrainians, and all our compatriots.

Patriotic and educational events and hours of remembrance and unity were organized, including "Unconquered by War," "February 24: The Day That Changed Us," "Prayer for Peace and Life," "Uniting in Prayer for the Future," and "Prayer for Ukraine: Strength in Unity," where they spoke about the anniversary, the war, and the need to pray for peace and life. The Day That Changed Us," "Prayer for Peace and Life," "Uniting in Prayer for the Future," and "Prayer for Ukraine: Strength in Unity," where they talked about the anniversary of the war, joined in prayer for Ukraine, honored the memory of the fallen heroes, and supported each other.

National-patriotic lectures and meetings were held, dedicated to the events of the first days of the full-scale invasion, where they talked about the importance of preserving the truth for future generations and restoring justice.

At the workshops, hopeful visitors created a "Letter of Prayer to Ukraine," where they wrote their wishes for Ukraine: peace, victory, strength, a bright future, and gratitude to the defenders. They made white paper doves—a symbol of prayer for soldiers, the future of Ukraine, and honoring the memory of fallen heroes, the desire for peace, tranquility, and unshakable faith in victory.

Screenings of historical documentaries introduced the audience to brave soldiers who exemplify courage, resilience, dignity, and patriotism.

Meetings with chaplains and military personnel were organized at humanitarian hubs/centers, where they remembered soldiers and civilians who died in the war.

Representatives of the hubs/centers, together with residents of Donetsk Oblast, also took part in memorial rallies, laid flowers at memorials and commemorative sites dedicated to soldiers, and observed a minute of silence to honor the memory of those who died, remembering everyone who gave their lives for the independence, freedom, and future of Ukraine.

Glory to Ukraine! Glory to all our heroes!
