In the frontline areas, danger can lurk right under your feet. Daily shelling, bombings, drone strikes - all of this leaves a deadly threat. Even your own backyard is no longer a safe place.
There may be unexploded shells, cluster munitions, booby traps or tripwires in yards, parks, on roads and in abandoned buildings. Immediately after the shelling, the danger has not yet passed, as debris or suspicious objects can be deadly.
Golden rules of safety:
- Stay away!
- Do not touch!
- If you see a suspicious or explosive object, call 101 or 112 immediately. Report your find and do not remain silent.
Remember, saving lives is the most important thing.
