A New City. New Opportunities. A New Job

Published 28 June 2026 year, 13:13

When the war forced Svitlana to leave her hometown of Myrnohrad, she had to rebuild her life almost from scratch. After 25 years of working at the city hospital, she found herself in a new city without her familiar community or a job.

Svitlana found support by turning to the Employment Service. Career advisors helped her prepare a professional CV, get ready for job interviews, and introduced her to current job openings and training opportunities.

To better understand the current labor legislation, she completed a short-term training course, "Specifics of Labor Relations Under Martial Law," at one of the State Employment Service's Vocational Education and Training Centers.

The results came quickly. Thanks to her proactive approach and newly acquired knowledge, Svitlana was able to continue her career in healthcare. She secured a position as a junior nurse at a private dental clinic owned by Dnipro entrepreneur Svitlana Chopenko.

Her new workplace is located close to her temporary residence, allowing her to focus on both her job and building a new life.

If you are also looking for a job, considering a career change, or need support on your path to employment, contact the Employment Service. Together, finding the right solution is easier.
