The war has changed the lives of millions of Ukrainians. Among them is Nataliia, a qualified nurse from Sloviansk with over 25 years of experience in healthcare. Due to the hostilities, she was forced to leave her hometown and job, eventually relocating to Kropyvnytskyi.
Her first goal after moving was to return to her professional field — and the Employment Service helped her achieve that. Today, the service provides extensive support to internally displaced persons.
Together with a career advisor, Nataliia refined her resume, emphasizing her long-term experience and ability to work effectively under high pressure. They analyzed potential employers in Kropyvnytskyi, discussed the specifics of working in public and private medical institutions, and reviewed interview preparation strategies.
The advisor paid special attention to how Nataliia could present her IDP experience — not as a hardship, but as a testament to her resilience, perseverance, and adaptability.
Thanks to this support, Nataliia confidently passed an interview at one of Kropyvnytskyi’s healthcare facilities, where she showcased her expertise, practical skills, and sincere motivation to work. Soon after, she was offered the position.
The Employment Service stands by everyone who finds themselves in difficult circumstances. Displaced persons can receive career counseling, job vacancy information, resume and interview assistance, and help in finding suitable employment.
