A New Start After Relocation: Yuliia’s Employment Story from Kurakhove

Published 30 December 2025 year, 11:25

Yuliia Machula is an internally displaced person from Kurakhove in Donetsk region. After relocating to Bucha, she lost her job and needed assistance in finding new employment. By education, she is an accountant. Before the full-scale invasion, she worked as a tax service audit inspector.

After turning to the employment service, Yuliia received individual consultations. Specialists helped her identify her strengths and update her résumé. Her strong computer skills and experience working with databases significantly expanded the range of potential vacancies, allowing her to consider not only accounting positions.

A career advisor suggested that Yuliia consider a vacancy as an administrator at a newly opened medical center. Specialists arranged an online interview, during which Yuliia made a positive impression on the employer and was hired for the desired position. Today, she is successfully employed and has adapted well to her new workplace.

“After relocating, it wasn’t easy to believe in myself again, but the support of the employment service specialists helped me see new opportunities. I feel stability and confidence in the future,” Yuliia Machula notes.
