As part of the "Side by Side: Cohesive Communities" project, representatives of the Siverska and Dubrynitsko-Malobereznyanska communities came together on the eve of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine to create amulets for our soldiers during the online workshop "Amulet for You, Warrior".
A talisman is not just a thing. It is a symbol of gratitude, support, prayer and faith in victory. Each thread, each knot, each element of this product certainly carries the warmth of our hearts.
At the workshop, the participants made wonderful amulets - an angel and a dove. In these symbols, they put a piece of their love, faith, hope and support for those who defend our freedom every day.
The communities also shared their experience of creating other amulets that they make for defenders. The meeting resulted not only in finished products, but also in a case study of step-by-step workshops on making amulets.
This meeting was an example of how a common cause can unite communities. Our amulets are a message: "We are with you. We believe. We are waiting".
