Victoria has devoted more than 30 years of her life to the energy sector. She works at substations in the Kramatorsk region, where she provides electricity and heat to thousands of people every day.
When the war started, her profession became a real challenge. Under fire, Victoria makes switching operations, risking her life to keep the lights on in the homes of Donetsk Oblast. She coordinates the work of her colleagues in the most difficult moments, supports the team and helps IDPs.
Despite the constant dangers, Victoria finds the strength to live: she and her family sheltered IDPs, takes care of animals, helps colleagues and always remains a pillar of strength for her team.
Her story is an example of resilience, love for people and dedication to the profession. She is a real woman of Donetsk region who brings light even on the darkest days.
