Hanna Tymofeyeva - participant of the regional contest "Woman of Donetsk Region" in 2025, nomination "Heart in Armor"
Hanna Tymofieieva from the Bakhmut community is a junior lieutenant, head of the psychological support and recovery team.
Hanna helped civilians from Donetsk and Luhansk regions who sought refuge in Kharkiv in 2014. In 2017, her volunteer work took her to Avdiivka and then to other cities in Donetsk Oblast: Svitlodarsk, Lyman, Kostiantynivka, Chasiv Yar, Kramatorsk, Sviatohirsk, and Bakhmut.
She worked for the humanitarian organization Proliska, helping local residents in need. Hanna has almost 10 years of experience in the humanitarian field in the frontline areas of Donetsk and Kharkiv regions.
In January 2024, Hanna signed a contract and became a junior lieutenant, an officer of the psychological support and recovery team. Her work is not just an official duty. It is a vital mission. She finds an approach to each soldier, helps them overcome stress, survive losses and maintain their mental balance.
The servicewoman does not work for awards, but for the sake of people. She is just doing her job. Her sister, brother-in-law, and relatives are all military. And this once again confirms that the spirit of patriotism and service reigns in their family.
Anna is an example for each of us. Her story is about how a person can find their purpose in the most difficult circumstances, and how a woman's heart, even hidden behind armor, can heal and give hope.
