Tetiana Vorobiova, participant of the regional contest "Woman of Donetsk Region" in 2025, nomination "Caring Heart"
There are women who become the backbone of the community. Their hands are always open to help, and their hearts are always open to love. Tetiana Vorobiova is one of them. She was born in the village of Krestyshche, among people for whom mutual assistance was a daily value. That's where her journey began. "I have always known that a person's strength is not in their status, but in their ability to lend a helping hand," says Tetiana.
She worked as a teacher for 20 years, teaching children not only subjects but also confidence in the world. "Children need not only knowledge from textbooks. They need faith in themselves. And I have always tried to give them that faith," she says.
Since 2016, her work has gone beyond the classroom: Tetiana became the head of a club and a deputy, initiated the construction of sports grounds that still unite children and adults.
In 2023, she became the head of the Social Services Center of the Sviatohirsk City Council. Under her leadership, the center has grown into three departments: home care, social work, and in-kind assistance. "For me, each client is not a number in a report. It is a story of a person whom we have to support," says Tetiana.
Thanks to her initiatives, a mobile sanitary module appeared in the community. It gives people the opportunity to maintain their dignity even when living conditions are difficult.
Tatiana has become a symbol of Donetsk region: her kindness, professionalism and faith in the community prove that true strength lies in unity and humanity.
