Svitlana Khrustenko - participant of the regional contest "Woman of Donetsk Region" in 2025, nomination "Caring Heart"
Psychologist Svitlana Khrustenko started her professional career as a school psychologist. Subsequently, Svitlana worked in various positions: as a methodologist of the Department of Education on psychological issues, a methodologist of the Regional Center for Psychology, and a psychologist in an organization.
And in 2023, she became a psychologist at the Czech humanitarian organization Man in Need. Svitlana is also a volunteer at the NGO "Create Dobropillia," an investor in the RePost free space in Dobropillia (a community of active citizens who have created an independent public space at their own expense), and the founder of the Women's Club for displaced women in the RePost free space.
Together with the team of the NGO "Dobropillia's Works" during the war, they implemented projects aimed at psychological support for women and girls in the Dobropillia community:
- "Support for internally displaced persons from Donetsk region",
- "Women Care,
- "Sustainable Good Field".
15 videos on first psychological aid were created: different approaches, different methods.
From October 2023 to the present, Svitlana has been working in the Donetsk region to provide first aid in places close to the demarcation line. She is always there where it is difficult and necessary.
