A delegation from the Ocheretyne community, led by the head of the village military administration, Mykola Kovalenko, took part in a charity fair in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a concert in Verkhivtseve, Dnipro region.
The Ocheretynska and Verkhivtseve communities have been cooperating as part of the national project "Side by Side: Cohesive Communities" since August this year. The guests were greeted like real friends with a towel and a fragrant caravan. The fair, which took place on the town square, had an incredibly warm atmosphere.
There were various delicacies, souvenirs, photo zones, face painting for children, and charity lotteries. It was a celebration of unity, kindness and gratitude to our brave and courageous servicemen who are defending our country from the enemy.
The leaders of both communities expressed their gratitude to the soldiers who defend our land and to all people who support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. With a minute of silence, the participants honored the memory of the Heroes who gave their lives for their country and for each of us.
The townspeople and guests of the holiday greeted the performance of the Ocheretyn community singing group with a standing ovation, which gave the audience positive emotions and charged them with the energy of hope and faith. The artistic groups of the Verkhivtseve community also created a good mood for all the participants.
All funds raised by the Ocheretyn community at the fair will go to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
