The Open Futsal Cup of the Ocheretynska settlement territorial community dedicated to the Day of Physical Culture and Sports was held in Dnipro.
The tournament brought together football teams from Donetsk and Dnipro regions and became a real celebration of sport, emotions and unity. The football teams took part in the competition:
- Ocheretynska settlement community;
- Verkhivtsevska urban community within the framework of the national project "Side by Side: United Communities";
- Hrodivska urban community;
- Marinka urban community;
- Pokrovske urban community.
The event was attended by guests:
- Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Volodymyr Mytsyk;
- Mykola Kovalenko, head of the Ocheretyne settlement military administration;
- Mykhailo Svitlyk, head of the Verkhivtseve town territorial community.
Throughout the tournament, the teams fought for victory with incredible dedication, demonstrating skill, cohesion and strength of spirit. Each half gave the audience vivid emotions and real intrigue until the last minute of the game.
The third place was taken by the team of the Hrodiv community, the second place was taken by the players from the Pokrovska community, and the team of the Verkhivtsevska community became the champions. The home team came one step short of the podium.
All teams received certificates and balls, and the winners and runners-up received cups and medals. In addition, the players received individual awards and memorable souvenirs that will become a symbol of their participation and sporting achievements. The most active fans were also recognized.
Community members who now live in Dnipro and Kamianske actively joined in the cheering and gave the athletes strong support. The atmosphere of unity and sports spirit made this event unforgettable for all participants and guests.
