Ihor Boiko, Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, took part in a meeting of the coordination headquarters for evacuation operations. During the meeting, the issue of ordering the compulsory evacuation of children, along with their parents or other legal guardians, from certain settlements in the Novodonetsk community was discussed and approved.

The corresponding decision was adopted by Order No. 6/39-26 of July 13, 2026, issued by Vadym Filashkin, Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration. In the villages of Vesela Hora, Katerynivka, Krynytsi, Kurytsyne, Kuroidivka, Novoyavlenka, Novoiverke, Novopavlivka, Novopetrivka, Novosergiivka, Samarske, Samiilivka,  Stepanivka, Spasko-Mykhailivka, Fedorivka, and Shevchenko, there are 74 children living in 51 families. They must leave together with their parents, guardians, or other legal representatives.

Ihor Boiko noted that the number of enemy shelling attacks in the region has increased recently, and children are among the victims. That is why stepping up evacuation efforts in the most dangerous communities is extremely urgent. At the same time, he emphasized that locations in the Zakarpattia, Poltava, Rivne, and Kirovohrad regions have already been designated to accommodate these families.

He emphasized that the police, rescue workers, paramedics, and volunteers are ready to assist people along the way. The evacuation is free of charge; at transit centers, families with children will receive medical, psychological, and humanitarian assistance as needed, and arrangements will be made for their subsequent relocation.
