The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine has initiated an information campaign called "Oh, what's that?" aimed at promoting the state language and encouraging citizens to use it actively and consciously.
As part of an art competition held in 2025, a series of 60 short videos entitled "Oh, what's that?" was created. The concept of the project is based on understanding language not only as a system of grammatical norms and rules, but above all as a living emotional phenomenon — a space for play, creativity, and self-expression.
Children became the face of the project — they speak naturally, sincerely, and without tension. It is this immediacy that helps to overcome language barriers more easily, evokes warm emotions towards the Ukrainian language, and encourages its more frequent use in everyday communication.
The videos organically combine the depth of the Ukrainian language with the freshness of children's thinking, evoking an emotional response, smiles, and interest in viewers.
Throughout the month, introductory videos will be published on the official Facebook page of the Donetsk Regional State Administration as part of this information campaign. We invite everyone to follow our publications, view and share the materials.
