The State Labor Service of Ukraine reminds employers of the importance of adhering to safety regulations when hiring individuals under the age of 18. To protect the lives and health of young people during the hiring process and while on the job, teenagers must undergo occupational safety training.
Instruction on workplace conduct and specialized training in occupational safety are also integral parts of the hiring process.
In addition to proper training, employers are required to provide minor employees with work clothes and other personal protective equipment as needed, in accordance with the conditions of the specific workplace. Creating appropriate and safe conditions in the workplace is a priority.
