Almost 9,000 local residents currently live in the Oleksandrivska community in the Kramatorsk district. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, around 2,000 people have left for safer regions.
However, the Oleksandrivska community continues to welcome displaced persons from other settlements in Donetsk Oblast, where the situation is more critical. Currently, up to 8,000 internally displaced persons live here.
There are eight resilience centers operating in the community, which are equipped with everything necessary: charging stations, drinking water, first aid kits, backup power supplies, and Starlinks. The Youth Council participated in the project and purchased charging stations for the resilience centers, which saves fuel for generators.
Despite the difficult times, the Oleksandrivka community continues to support the military: over the past year, the community has allocated 15 million hryvnias to support the Armed Forces.
