On June 28, the Constitution Day of Ukraine, the Center for Unity and National Resistance platform together with the Department of Family, Youth and Mass Events of the National Patriotic Education of the Regional State Administration held an online dialogue “Our Constitutions”.

The event was dedicated to the centuries-old history of the constitutional process in Ukraine and the importance of the Basic Law for the development of the modern Ukrainian state. Dialogue participants had an opportunity to learn about the evolution of legal traditions on Ukrainian lands, starting from the oldest sources of law, such as Yaroslav the Wise's Ruska Pravda, and ending with the establishment of the modern Constitution of Ukraine in 1996. Particular attention was paid to key historical documents, including the Constitution of Pylyp Orlyk of 1710, which is considered the first written Constitution of Europe, as well as constitutional projects of the Ukrainian People's Republic.

The online dialog allowed participants to better understand the continuity of the Ukrainian state-building tradition and the struggle for legal principles, emphasizing the role of the Constitution as the foundation of Ukraine's independence, sovereignty, and democratic development. To make the discussion even more interactive and dynamic, the participants also took part in a Kahoot! quiz to test and consolidate their knowledge.
