The State Labor Service of Ukraine reminds the public of the specific rules governing the payment of wages to citizens under the age of 18. Minors paid on an hourly basis receive the same rate as employees in the corresponding categories working full-time; for piecework, they are paid according to the piecework rates established for adult workers. Students who work during their free time outside of school receive wages based on the actual hours worked or depending on their own output.
