As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” the Mykolaiv community held a professional development workshop titled “My Challenge—My Victory: The Story of Certified Teachers.”
This event was organized by the Nikolsk Gymnasium “Sofia” in collaboration with the Mykilsk Community’s Primary School No. 2 for educators from the Chyhyryn and Stepanets communities in Cherkasy Oblast and the Fastiv community in Kyiv Oblast.
The event served as an effective platform for professional dialogue, the exchange of experiences, and support for educators seeking to develop and enhance their professional skills.
Participants had the opportunity to review practical case studies on the certification process, the specifics of creating an electronic portfolio, and tools for self-assessment and professional growth.
Particular attention was drawn to the presentations by certified teachers from the Mykilsk community, who shared their own success stories, outlined the challenges they faced, and presented effective strategies for overcoming them.
This format of open experience-sharing fosters a culture of professional mutual support and the development of the teaching community.
