Receiving approval for a grant is only the beginning of your journey toward building a successful business. After the exciting news comes a number of important questions: What documents do you need to prepare? Where should you apply? How should the grant funds be used? What obligations must you fulfill?
If you applied as an individual, within 20 working days you must:
register as a sole proprietor (individual entrepreneur) or establish a legal entity;
sign the grant agreement;
open a dedicated account with an authorized bank.
Once the grant funds are transferred, it is important to remember that they may only be used for the purposes outlined in your business plan and in accordance with the program's requirements.
Grant recipients are also required to:
conduct business in line with the approved business plan;
create new jobs (if required under the grant conditions);
hire employees within the established timeframes;
pay taxes and mandatory contributions;
carry out business activities throughout the required period.
