On the Day of Remembrance of the Heroes of Kruty, humanitarian hubs/centers established for residents of Donetsk Oblast in safe regions of Ukraine organized and held patriotic events.
The Mariupol District IDP Support Center "Heart of the East" in Lviv held an information hour entitled "Remember, Ukraine, your patriotic sons!", during which video materials dedicated to the Heroes of Kruty were shown, the significance of their feat was highlighted, and patriotic feelings were fostered among young people. and a minute of silence was observed to honor the memory of the Heroes.
The educational location of the Kurakhiv City Council's "Sincere Heart" activity center in Dnipro held thematic events "Little Hearts Remember Heroes" "Students Who Defended Ukraine," where attendees learned about the events of the battle near Kruty, learned about the feat of the young heroes, and joined in a minute of silence to honor the memory of the fallen heroes. The book exhibition "Krut. Battle for the Future" served as a reminder of the courage and heroism of Ukrainian students and high school students.
During the patriotic event "Heroes of Kruty – a symbol of invincibility," organized at the humanitarian hub of the Mariinsky MBA in Pavlohrad, participants immersed themselves in historical events, discussed the continuity of Ukrainian knighthood, and used elements of bibliotherapy. In Zhovti Vody, a historical excursion entitled "The Heroes of Kruty, Forever Young" was held, during which participants listened to themed poetry and songs and drew parallels with contemporary events.
The humanitarian hub "Our Kramatorsk. Together we will overcome everything" in Dnipro held a themed event during which attendees learned about the historical events of 1918, listened to poetry readings, and viewed themed materials.
The Toretsk Community Support Center in Kremenchuk held a memorial event, during which participants were shown thematic materials, learned details about the feat, and were introduced to historical information about the Battle of Kruty.
The YAMariupol support centers for displaced persons honored the anniversary of the Battle of Kruty with screenings of documentary materials, information sessions, historical discussions, and thematic interactive lectures prepared based on materials from the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance. Participants were introduced to key historical themes of the events, parallels were drawn with the present day, the price of freedom and the power of youth were discussed, and thematic stands with informational materials revealing the heroism of Ukraine's young defenders were prepared.
Today, in these difficult times for Ukraine, we remember with special respect the Heroes of Kruty and all those who defend the interests of the Ukrainian people—statehood, unity, and freedom.
