On May 4, 2026, the event “Educational Constellation: Experience That Unites Communities” took place, bringing together veteran educators from the Cherkasy and Oleksandrivka village communities.
The bridge of unity was built as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” aimed at strengthening cooperation and mutual support between communities. Previously, the Oleksandrivka community had already established partnerships with the Yaremcha and Pryiutivka communities, but this time the focus was on developing internal cooperation within the Donetsk region.
Participants discussed the role of veteran educators in preserving educational traditions, passing on experience to young professionals, and strengthening the professional community.
The event featured thematic interactive sessions, including discussions on professional experience, the exchange of teaching practices, and the development of recommendations for the further development of the education sector. Veterans of education shared their own insights, practical advice, and approaches to working with students.
An interactive segment titled “Bridge of Generations” was held during the meeting, during which experienced educators shared “golden advice” for young people, decorating the “Tree of Pedagogical Wisdom” with these insights. The main message from everyone was to love children above all else.
Particular attention was paid to the significance of generational continuity in educational practice and the importance of preserving the values of Ukrainian education in the face of contemporary challenges.
The meeting served as a platform for professional dialogue, the exchange of experiences, and the strengthening of ties between communities, which contributes to the development of the educational environment and the improvement of the quality of educational services in the region.
