The final round of the country’s most prestigious teaching competition, “Teacher of the Year 2026,” took place in Zakarpattia. Forty-eight teachers from various regions of Ukraine advanced to the final round, competing in four categories: "Elementary Education," "English," "Mathematics," and "Civics."
The teachers demonstrated professional expertise, modern teaching methods, and the ability to work in the context of today’s educational challenges.
Anna Nikitskaya, an English teacher at Kostiantynivka Secondary School No. 13 (Grades 1–3), won third place in the final round of the All-Ukrainian “Teacher of the Year – 2026” competition in the “English Language” category.
The representative from Donetsk Oblast successfully presented her own teaching experience, demonstrated a high level of professional training, an innovative approach to teaching, and dedication to her profession.
Hanna Nikitska’s achievement was a significant accomplishment not only for the teacher herself but also for the educational community of Donetsk Oblast, confirming the high professional level of teachers in the region.
Anna Kubrak, a mathematics teacher at Velykonovosilky Secondary School No. 2 (Grades 1–3), also performed admirably in the finals of the All-Ukrainian “Teacher of the Year – 2026” competition, placing 7th. Reaching the finals and becoming one of the top ten educators in the country is a significant professional achievement.
