The first shift of the Regional Ecological Expedition, organized at the initiative of the Donetsk Regional Ecological and Naturalist Center, lasted five days and became a true space for ecological knowledge, creativity, and team interaction.
During the expedition, participants – 9 teams of students and pupils from educational institutions in the region – explored the world of nature, created original eco-fables, participated in educational quests, analyzed the plant world, reflected on healthy eating, and discovered their own "power places" in nature.
The children not only observed but also learned to comprehend what they saw, conveying their impressions in creative works and team projects. After the completion of all shifts of the expedition, the best results, including a collection of eco-fables, will be placed in the electronic library of the DOENС.
Five days of the expedition proved: ecological awareness is best formed when knowledge is combined with practice, research, and genuine admiration for nature.
