On October 15, Nataliia Adamova, Acting Director of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center, visited the municipal enterprise “Blahoustrii” of the Sloviansk City Council, where she met with the management and unemployed citizens participating in community service work.
The enterprise operates in the field of landscaping services and actively contributes to eliminating the consequences of shelling and destruction in the city. Since 2023, “Blahoustrii” has been a reliable partner of the Employment Service, jointly organizing community service jobs for local residents. Thanks to this cooperation, dozens of people have had the opportunity to work, earn a stable income, and do something meaningful — helping rebuild their city.
During the meeting with the enterprise’s management, they discussed further cooperation — in particular, expanding areas of community work, recruiting staff for the municipal sector, and using state programs that support employers.
In May of this year, “Blahoustrii” took advantage of the opportunity to receive compensation for wage costs when employing internally displaced persons (IDPs) in accordance with Resolution No. 331 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. This kind of state financial support helps enterprises preserve jobs and employ people who were forced to leave their homes.
“Today, the Employment Service is not only about finding jobs — it’s also about partnership, community support, and creating conditions so that everyone can feel useful and needed,” - emphasized Nataliia Adamova.
The Donetsk Regional Employment Service continues to cooperate with municipal enterprises across the region, as it is precisely through such initiatives that local economies are restored and new opportunities for people are created.
