For more than 11 years, the war has made Donetsk Oblast one of the most heavily mined regions of Ukraine. One square meter can contain dozens of dangerous "remnants of war" - from ammunition to mines and shells. All this makes the demining process extremely difficult and risky.
Despite the risk, the pyrotechnics of the Donetsk Oblast State Emergency Service do their job every day. They have the necessary knowledge and experience, and most importantly, they realize that every meter of cleared land can give people safety.
Dear citizens! If you see a suspicious object, do not touch it or try to neutralize it yourself. Only specially trained specialists can do this. In case of danger, call 101!
