In the context of full-scale war, knowledge of mine safety has become a critical survival skill for Ukrainians. As part of the Side by Side: United Communities project, an online training session was held, bringing together representatives of the Bakhmut, Goscha, and Gostomel communities.

The event was organized on the initiative of the Bakhmut City Council's Department of Youth Policy and Children's Affairs. The main expert was a certified operator from the Swiss Foundation for Mine Action FSD Ukraine.

FSD Ukraine specialists discussed key safety aspects in detail. Participants had the opportunity to engage in a lively dialogue with professionals, receiving answers to questions that could protect them and their loved ones in the future.

Even in difficult conditions due to evacuation and the constant challenges of war, the Bakhmut community is not alone. Cooperation with partner communities demonstrates the true unity of Ukrainians: the exchange of experience, joint learning, and mutual support are becoming the foundation for future recovery.
