On May 20, as part of the all-Ukrainian project “Side by Side: Cohesive Communities,” a regular online meeting of education representatives from the Tyachiv and Lyman communities took place.
Deputy directors of general secondary education institutions in charge of educational work and teacher-organizers were invited to participate.
The meeting was devoted to an important part of school life that shapes character, values and civic position - the organization of educational work.
Representatives of communities and educational institutions learned about the cases and initiatives that are already being implemented, shared their experience of working with students, which could combine the best practices of both partner communities by conducting educational activities online.
They discussed a plan of joint educational activities that can be implemented even at a distance, because education today is not only about moral lessons, but also about the warmth, support, and cohesion that children feel every day. These are small practical steps to share experiences, develop partnerships, and inspire joint activities for Ukrainian unity.
The cooperation of educators from the Tyachiv and Lyman communities is proof that even in difficult times, education is alive, strong and able to unite hearts.
