Our fellow townspeople, together with residents of the Sheptytska community, took part in two vibrant theatrical performances as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities.”
The first was the play “Grandmas Are Trendy”—a lighthearted, cheerful, and humorous production that filled the audience with genuine emotion and good cheer. The vivid characters and engaging scenes proved that creativity and a positive outlook on life know no age limits.
No less colorful was the musical and theatrical ritual performance “Wedding.” The audience was immersed in the atmosphere of Ukrainian wedding traditions from the Lviv region, witnessed folk rituals, heard songs, and enjoyed the dances.
“Such gatherings are a wonderful opportunity to discover culture and traditions together and simply spend time in good company. It is especially gratifying that our fellow countrymen have the opportunity to interact with residents of the Sheptytsky community, get to know one another, and share vivid emotions together. It is precisely these moments that create true unity between communities,” noted Dmytro Shynkar, head of the “Unity” Humanitarian Hub at the Pokrovska MBA in Sheptytsky.
Joint cultural events provide yet another opportunity for communication, making new acquaintances, and strengthening friendly ties between communities as part of the national initiative “Side by Side: United Communities.”
