Over 200,000 children have been evacuated from Donetsk Oblast since the start of the full-scale invasion.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion and the announcement of the evacuation from the Donetsk region, almost 200,600 children have been taken away.

There are 13,114 children remaining in the Donetsk region controlled by the Ukrainian authorities. According to official information, there are no children left in the zone of active hostilities. In total, 200,500 civilians remain in the Donetsk region.

The progress of the evacuation in Donetsk region was discussed during a traditional briefing at the regional state administration with the participation of representatives of the Department of Civil Protection, Mobilization and Defense, the Service for Children's Affairs, and the Department of Social Protection of the Population.

According to Dmytro Petlin, head of the department of operational duty service, communications, alerting and informing the population of the Department of Civil Protection, Mobilization and Defense, 15,700 people currently live in 20 communities whose territory is recognized as an active combat zone.

Over the past week, 770 civilians have left the region on their own or have been evacuated.

In two settlements where the evacuation of families with children has been declared compulsory, 701 children remain. This was reported by Yulia Ryzhakova, head of the Children's Services Department. Three children live in the village of Zavido-Kudashove in the Kryvyi Rih rural community, and 698 children live in the city of Druzhkivka.

Over the past week, 131 children have been evacuated from Druzhkivka.

The free resettlement of people evacuated from Donetsk region who need such support continues. Over the past week, 59 people were resettled free of charge, 10 of them in a geriatric facility in Zhytomyr region. This was reported by Dmytro Pozharsky, head of the social services division of the social protection department. During the week, free resettlement took place in Lviv, Odesa, Volyn, Kyiv, and other regions.

In October, 381 people evacuated from Donetsk region were provided with free accommodation, including 137 people with limited mobility who left without their relatives and were accommodated in specialized geriatric facilities.
