On September 4, the application of the Law of Ukraine "On Citizens' Appeals" was discussed at a seminar with representatives of district and local military administrations.
The following issues were discussed during the event:
- cooperation with civil society organizations and volunteers to support distance learning;
- organizing photo and video documents in the institution and preparing them for transfer to the state archives;
- new programs to support veterans, which will be introduced in 2025;
- providing persons/children with disabilities and other specific categories of the population with auxiliary means of rehabilitation;
- suspension of an employee's employment contract in order to ensure economical and rational use of budget funds during martial law;
- active online involvement of young people and support of the organizational and communication capacity of youth councils in the context of territorial dispersion of members of youth councils; psycho-emotional state of participants in the educational process.
The seminar was organized and conducted by the Department for Liaison with Local Self-Government Bodies in cooperation with the relevant structural units of the regional state administration, Donetsk Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education, Donetsk Regional Center for the Calculation and Payment of Social Benefits, Eastern Interregional Department of the State Labor Service of Ukraine, Donetsk Regional Youth Center and Donetsk Regional Training and Methodological Center of the Psychological Service of the Education System.
During the seminar, participants gained new skills, knowledge and took an active part in discussing reports and presentations and expressed their wishes regarding the topics of future meetings.
