This was reported by Vadym Filashkin, Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Chief of the Regional Military Administration.
The decision was made at a meeting of the Donetsk Oblast Defense Council. The funds are being directed toward the procurement of electronic warfare systems, UAVs and FPV drones, as well as toward increasing resources for the construction and reinforcement of fortifications.
“In addition, I emphasized the importance of the quality of road surfaces on logistics routes and their maximum protection for vehicles. These routes are critically important, particularly during the evacuation of civilians.
I instructed the relevant officials to intensify efforts to evacuate children and their parents from settlements where mandatory forced evacuation has been announced. The number of shelling incidents there continues to grow, and the security situation is becoming extremely dangerous,” Vadym Filashkin stressed.
