Utility benefits are government-established discounts on housing and utility payments provided to certain categories of citizens based on their social status.
Discounts are granted at the following rates, depending on the beneficiary's category:
100% – for war veterans;
75% – for combat participants;
50% – for large families.
The amount of the benefit is calculated based on the person's eligibility status and the family's average monthly total income.
