The State Employment Service offers a range of services and programs aimed at helping internally displaced persons (IDPs) find employment and regain economic independence. We encourage you to take advantage of the available modern services and opportunities:
1. Employment Assistance
• Individual job matching based on education, professional experience, and personal preferences.
• Online job search services: the Unified Job Portal and the Job Seeker’s Electronic Cabinet.
• Opportunities to participate in community service and other temporary public works.
2. Vocational Training
• Training for unemployed individuals at the request of employers in skilled trades that are currently in demand in the labor market.
• The opportunity to receive a voucher that allows you to improve your professional skills free of charge.
3. Grants for Starting or Developing Your Own Business
• “Own Business” program – microgrants ranging from UAH 50,000 to UAH 350,000, and up to UAH 500,000 for entrepreneurs from Donetsk region.
• “Grant for Veterans and Their Family Members” program – grants ranging from UAH 250,000 to UAH 1 million.
Applications for grant programs are submitted through the Diia portal. One of the conditions for receiving a grant is the creation of new jobs.
4. Employer Support Programs for Hiring IDPs
• Support for employers in the form of wage compensation for hiring internally displaced persons (provided they are registered unemployed IDPs).
• Compensation of wage expenses for employing internally displaced persons who relocated due to hostilities during martial law in Ukraine (for each employed IDP).
