The IDP support center "SELIDOVO.UA" in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka, Kyiv region, was visited by Yulia Didenko, a member of the Ukrainian Parliament of the IX convocation, and Natalia Chukova, head of the department for cooperation with local authorities of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
During the visit, they familiarized themselves with the work of the relocated team, talked with employees of the Selidovo City Council, and discussed the main challenges and areas of activity aimed at supporting residents of the Selidovo community who have become displaced persons in the Kyiv region.
Yulia Didenko and Natalia Chukova noted the importance of preserving the city council's staff and the work of the team, which constantly strives to support people who have been forced to leave their homes due to Russian aggression.
During the visit, an award ceremony was also held. Two deputies of the Selidovo City Council were awarded the Certificate of Merit of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for their significant personal contribution to the development of local self-government, conscientious work, and active public, charitable, and volunteer activities.
This award was a recognition not only of their work, but also of the work of the entire team, their dedication and active efforts to support people during a difficult time for the country.
