On June 5, representatives of the Regional State Administration’s Department of Veterans’ Policy participated in the 5th All-Ukrainian Dialogue “Communities for Veterans 2026,” which took place in Rivne.
The dialogue was attended by leadership from the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the National Health Service of Ukraine, the State Employment Center, as well as representatives of regional military administrations, local self-government bodies, international organizations, diplomatic missions, the veteran community, and the civil society sector.
The event served as a platform for discussing pressing issues related to the development and implementation of veteran policy, support for the Defenders of Ukraine and their family members, as well as the development of community-oriented approaches to reintegrating veterans into civilian life.
Participation in such events facilitates the exchange of experience between regions, the development of effective mechanisms to support veterans and their families, and the formation of unified approaches to implementing state veteran policy at the local level.
