Representatives of Donetsk region joined the discussion on preparing frontline territories for the autumn-winter period

Igor Boiko, Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, took part in a working meeting held by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine in conjunction with the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine as part of preparations for the autumn-winter period of 2025/2026.

The meeting was held online, and those present discussed the issue of clarifying reserves and needs for generator equipment for frontline regions.

The meeting determined the actual needs for autonomous power sources to ensure the uninterrupted operation of critical infrastructure facilities and to increase the stability of energy supply in the face of possible threats. During the meeting, the readiness of the regions, the availability of reserves, and the priority needs for equipment of various capacities were discussed.

Ihor Boiko reported on the current state of providing the necessary equipment to enterprises in the fuel and energy sector and critical infrastructure. He stressed that it is important for Donetsk region to ensure the stable operation of such enterprises in conditions of increased risk of emergency power outages in order to ensure the functioning of the region in conditions of war and constant shelling by the enemy.
