On April 15–17, 2026, the National Ecological and Naturalistic Center held the final round of the All-Ukrainian Youth Energy Conservation Project Competition “Energy and Environment – 2026.” This year, under the slogan “Save Energy – Save the Planet!”, the competition received 166 entries from all regions of Ukraine.
Based on the results of the final stage, representatives from the Donetsk region presented their region with distinction and won a number of prizes.
First place went to:
- Polina Kozlenko (Lyceum with a structural unit of Gymnasium No. 1, Pokrovsk).
Second place went to:
- Viktoria Buryak (Donetsk Regional Center for Ecological Education, “Academic” Secondary School, Kramatorsk).
Third place went to:
- Veronika Verikh (DOENC, Kostiantynivka Secondary School No. 5),
- Viktoria Medvedeva (Secondary School No. 20, Toretsk),
- Valeria Medianyk (Shandryholiv Lyceum).
In the “Educational Works” category, third place went to Yulia Kucheruk, club leader at the Regional Educational and Scientific Center.
