A two-day forum and workshop titled “Adaptive and Inclusive” was held in Kyiv, bringing together experts in the fields of sports, rehabilitation, psychology, and the social integration of veterans.
Donetsk Oblast was represented at the event by senior coaches of the Donetsk Oblast Sumo Federation—Oleg Reva, Olga Mytnik, and world champion Yelyzaveta Morenko.
On the first day, participants took part in theoretical sessions and discussions focusing on the role of sports in veterans’ rehabilitation, the importance of effective communication, and the creation of an accessible, inclusive environment.
The next day, the focus shifted to practical activities: training sessions in adaptive sports, classes on rehabilitation and psychological support, as well as a demonstration of modern approaches to working with people with disabilities.
In addition, participants from Donetsk Oblast were recognized with a certificate of appreciation for their significant contribution to the rehabilitation and social integration of veterans and people with disabilities.
