The head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, Vadym Filashkin, together with the heads of the military administrations of the Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, Pokrovsk, and Lyman communities, met with a joint delegation of representatives of foreign diplomatic missions and the Partnership for a Strong Ukraine Program.

Representatives of six embassies—the United Kingdom, Estonia, Finland, Norway, Sweden, and Switzerland—took part in the meeting.

"These are countries that have consistently supported Ukraine and our region since the first days of the full-scale war. We have been cooperating with some of our partners for a long time, while others we had the opportunity to meet for the first time. I congratulated some of the ambassadors on their recent appointments," said Vadym Filashkin.

During the conversation, the head of Donetsk Oblast outlined the real humanitarian and security situation in the region. The war affects all areas of life in Donetsk region on a daily basis, from security and the economy to social protection and the functioning of critical infrastructure.

Key challenges include energy supply to communities, the need for specialized equipment and fuel for generators, as well as housing for people who have been forced to evacuate.

"We clearly understand the scale of these needs and at the same time are sincerely grateful to our partners for the assistance they have already provided. It is international support that enables Donetsk region to survive, work, and remain resilient even in the most difficult conditions," emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
