As part of the national project "Side by Side: Cohesive Communities", representatives of the communities of Mariupol district, Donetsk region, visited the Chyhyryn community, Cherkasy region.
During the meeting, they discussed the challenges faced by the outpost communities in the context of the war, outlined the issues of social support for the population, and joint opportunities for implementing new initiatives.
During the visit, the delegation visited the Administrative Services Center, the Inclusive Resource Center, the adaptation space "We are close by", the city stadium, the Center for Culture, Leisure, Youth and Sports, and got acquainted with the work of the volunteer group "Chyhyryn Spiders". They also visited Shevchenko Park and honored the memory of the fallen soldiers-defenders of Ukraine on the Walk of Fame.
We had the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of the Chyhyryn solar power plant, discussed the use of renewable energy sources, and exchanged experience in implementing sustainable energy projects.
This eventful day once again showed that we are united, we are close, and the strength of Ukraine is in our unity!
