On October 25, as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” in cooperation with the Khlibodarivka Rural Military Administration and the Mashivka Settlement Council, together with the “Light of Hope” Charitable Foundation, a strategic board game workshop titled “Horizon of Change” was held for specialists and internally displaced persons from the Khlibodarivka and Mashivka communities.
“Horizon of Change” is an interactive simulation game developed by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Ukraine to develop civil society organizations and strengthen their capacity to work effectively in an environment of constant change.
During the game, participants had the opportunity to simulate real-life challenges facing the civil society sector, assess their teams’ strengths, identify areas for further development, and try their hand at strategic planning, fundraising, and finding effective solutions.
Through teamwork, discussions of practical scenarios, and collaborative problem-solving, participants deepened their knowledge and developed skills in systems thinking, communication, and planning. After all, it is precisely the ability to join forces, listen to one another, and act together that helps communities overcome difficulties and move forward with confidence.
Upon completion of the training, participants received certificates confirming their participation in the training game.
