A football tournament in memory of the Heroes of Donetsk Region dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the Defenders of Ukraine - those who died for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country - took place in Dnipro.
The teams that embody strength, endurance and daily struggle for life took to the field: the team of the Kramatorsk District Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Donetsk Oblast, the team of the Kramatorsk District Department of the State Emergency Service, the team of the Donetsk Zonal Department of the Military Law Enforcement Service and the team "Staleva Kramatorshchyna".
The police team won in a fair and intense game. The second place went to the rescuers, the third to Staleva Kramatorsk, and the fourth to the representatives of the Military Law Enforcement Service. But the main victory of this day was memory - alive, strong, and worthy.
The teams shared this day with the acting head of the Kramatorsk District State Administration, the head of the district military administration, Victoria Nabokova, the head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, Volodymyr Mytsyk, the head of the Department of Veterans' Policy of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, Artur Nasibyan, the wife of the fallen defender from Kramatorsk, Victoria Ilyenko, as well as residents of the communities of Kramatorsk district and the team of the IDP Support Center of Kramatorsk district "MiRazom" (Dnipro).
Victoria Nabokova, acting head of the Kramatorsk district state administration and head of the district military administration, emphasized:
"We must remember and honor those who gave the most valuable thing - their lives. At the same time, we must be strong, united, and support each other. Donetsk region is not just a region. It is our people, their courage, kindness, and strength of spirit. And as long as we are together, our land is unbreakable."
